Giving Back while Scoring Deals:
HUVI's Sale Benefits Ukrainian Refugees

NANAIMO, BC - Help Ukraine Vancouver Island Society (HUVI) is pleased to announce its upcoming sale on Friday April 28th from 12:00-17:00 and Saturday April 29th from 08:00-13:00 at St. Michael the Archangel Church in Nanaimo (4017 Victoria Ave).

This event offers a selection of quality used small appliances, clothing, sporting equipment, and other goodies for sale along with traditional Ukrainian food.

"This is an opportunity for our community to come together and support displaced Ukrainians in central Vancouver Island," said Karmen McNamara, General Manager of HUVI. "Every penny raised goes directly towards creating decent and safe new lives for individuals living in Cowichan Valley, Nanaimo, and Parksville.”

With over 1200 refugees supported since March 2022 alone, HUVI remains committed to providing essential resources and support to those in need. The proceeds from this sale will help fund necessary items such as groceries, toiletries, children’s and more – all designed to empower refugees by fulfilling their basic needs while they work to build a better future.

"We're thrilled that we can give back while also offering some great deals on quality items," added McNamara. "It's a win-win situation where everyone benefits.

Be sure not to miss out on this incredible opportunity to score some fantastic finds while contributing towards an incredibly worthy cause.
