Dear Prayer Friends,
What an awful week it has been for gun violence in America.
We hold in our prayers the family of Deputy Joshua Owen who was killed in Cyrus, Minnesota. Two other officers were shot as they responded to a domestic call.
We hold in our prayers Ralph Yarl, a 16-year-old black teenager who was shot when he went to the wrong address to pick up his younger brothers in Kansas City. We pray for his recovery and that justice will be served.
We hold in our prayers the small town of Dadeville, Alabama where four people died and 28 others were injured during a teenager's birthday party.
We cry out with the Psalmist, “Out of the depths I cry to you, O Lord; Lord, hear my voice!” Psalm 130:1.
Grace and peace,
Pastor Karen Bruins
