We have great volunteers helping out in our Nicola Valley Community Arts Council and we want to take a minute to thank you all for your time, and for all the creative energy and ideas to contribute.
It motivates us to continue providing a variety of Arts and Culture experiences to the people of Merritt and the Nicola Valley. Our volunteers are the lifeblood of our organization and we are immensely grateful - Thank you!

Come enjoy our NVCAC Pop-Up Art Show in the Foyer, with several well-known and favourite local artists like Cassandra Dolen, Jean Kiegerl, Leonard George, Miriam Loken, Joel Reid, Herta Klassen, and more.

This class is guaranteed to make you sparkle! Bring your junk jewelry and use its pieces to re-create a unique bracelet or necklace. Tools supplied! Only $20 (must be a member of the Arts Council).

Thank you to the Fibre Lovers - and a new art show is coming this week!

What a great show the Fibre Lovers and friends put on in our Arts Centre Gallery! We are sorry to see all that creative work gone now, but we know the fibre art work in the valley continues - and we are thrilled to bring you the work of Linda Suzuki, showcasing the art project models she used for her teachings as an art instructor at MSS, in our next art show, from April 20 to May 21, 2023. Linda will be writing up stories about the projects, and our reception will be on Friday, April 28th from 4-7 pm.

A reminder about events coming up, from our friends at the Merritt Dance Society.
Pre-order at Miss Vicki's Petals and Plants before April 29th for the Mother's Day Flower Sale. Pick up flowers week of May 10-13, 2023: 4-inch mini roses or African violets - $8.95, 6-inch mini roses - $16.95.
$2 from each plant sold goes to Love To Dance Academy.
May 13th, stop by the Love To Dance studio for a BBQ hot dog and drink for $5. Proceeds support Love To Dance programs.
Bottle Drive - Saturday, May 27th, 10 am to 2 pm at Love To Dance studio.
