Alondra's Story

Dear <<First Name>>,

Alondra, a junior, came to check out Cru at Timber Creek HS this year. At the Christmas outreach, the gospel was clearly shared, and she indicated that she wanted to follow Jesus. Being from a military family, she has moved a lot and has never had an opportunity to plug into a faith community.

This super sweet girl has not only plugged in with us but has also been so hungry to know the truth. She has been meeting with me and 3-4 other girls to go through our follow-up series. This series really grounds students in the truth and lays a firm foundation. She not only engages with the material deeply, but she goes home every time and teaches her mom what we have been talking about.

Her entire family has even begun to go to church with us! It is exciting to see God use what He is doing in this girl's heart to impact her entire family! Please pray for Alondra and the other Timber Creek students who have recently trusted Christ.   Thank you for investing in our ministry so that lives like these can be changed for eternity!

GETAWAY 2023

Our summer Getaway conference will be different this year. All of our staff and students will be meeting in Los Angels on June 24th for our normal week-long conference. After this 200 of those staff and students will be flying out to 13 different locations around the globe to take the love of Jesus to the world. We will be planting new high school ministries, leading English camps where people hear about Jesus, and sharing water filters with people who have no access to clean water. Every trip will be a little different but all will be focused on helping people know Jesus.
This is the only year that all three of our boys are in high school at the same time. We knew this year would be a unique year for us and we have decided to all go on a trip together.

Our leadership has asked us to go on the trip to Fiji and New Zealand where we will help them start high school ministries in the local high schools. We will also visit 7 local villages in Fiji where the water is dangerous to drink. We will bring them water filters and tell them about the Living Water. Please pray for us as we prepare for and raise support for this trip.
