Steamroller Print Festival
The 6th Annual Steamroller Print Festival will take place at ARTSPACE at Untitled in Deep Deuce this Saturday, April 22 from 10am to 6pm. The Steamroller Print Festival is unlike any event in OKC. It is truly a unique and exciting event that celebrates printmaking, the arts, and the vibrant community of Deep Deuce with live music, vendors, food trucks, and much more. The event supports local artists and vendors while providing a unique experience for the community. Oklahoma City's Day of Remembrance
Today holds immense importance as it marks the anniversary of the Oklahoma City bombing. On this day in 1995, a truck bomb exploded outside the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building in downtown Oklahoma City and 168 innocent lives were lost. Today #WeRemember those who were killed, those who survived, and those changed forever. Popular Night Market returns to Scissortail Park this Friday
The first Night Market of the year will take place at Scissortail Park this Friday, April 21 from 5:30-10pm. Enjoy shopping from some of Oklahoma’s best local businesses and artisan vendors spread throughout Scissortail Park. Home decor, gifts, art, and plants are just a few of the things you will find at the upcoming April Night Market. Plus, the night will be filled with live stage performances as well as treats from local food trucks.

Celebrate the 20th Anniversary of Allied Arts Artini

The 57th Annual Festival of the Arts is on its way to OKC
This week's What's Up Downtown Blog features the upcoming Oklahoma City Festival of the Arts, returning to Bicentennial Park on April 25 running through April 30. The festival is hosted by the Arts Council of Oklahoma City and celebrates the visual, performing, and culinary arts. Help provide information regarding OKC child care
The Greater Oklahoma City Chamber is currently working to better understand how access to child care is impacting the local labor force, and ultimately how it is impacting OKC employers. If you live or work in Oklahoma City and currently use, or will need to use, child care, help provide information by participating in the survey. The deadline to submit your anonymous surveys is Friday, April 21.

The OKC Memorial Marathon's Green Team needs your help to recycle and compost
Volunteers are needed to help participate with the Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) to collect over 1,000lbs of plastic bottles, cardboard, aluminum cans, and heatsheet blankets following the OKC Memorial Marathon races at Scissortail Park on April 29-30. Activities include bin setup and breakdown, replacing bin bags when full, and sorting out contamination. Ages 13-17 are able to volunteer but must be accompanied by an adult. Run to Remember
The 2023 Oklahoma City Memorial Marathon weekend will kick-off next Friday, April 28 with the Health & Fitness Expo at the OKC Convention Center from 11am-7pm. Races will officially begin on Saturday morning at the 5K starting line followed by the Senior and Kids Marathons. The Marathon, Half Marathon, and Relay will take place Sunday starting at 6:30am. The Finish Line Festival will be welcoming runners and cheerleaders all weekend long with live music and celebrations.
