United Women in Faith
Rose Garden Tea – Recap
The attendance count was almost 80, including honored guest Marjorie Crow (one of the founding members of our church), and the ladies who provided the fabulous entertainment: The Women’s Variations with the Coppell Community Chorale. With beautiful table decorations and delicious food, the event planned by MaryLou Ivy and Dorothy Kibler raised money for UWF scholarships and missions. Said president Barby Matous, “Thanks so much to everyone who helped with the food, with setup on Friday, preparations on Saturday, the men for serving, and a special thank you to the cleanup crew!”

VBS & Children’s Ministries
Our Children’s Ministry offers many experiences for children to hear God’s word, learn how to worship and pray, and to understand how to share Christ’s love by serving others. Every summer, Christ United Methodist Church opens its doors to our youngsters and others in the community with Vacation Bible School to participate in adventures to learn and grow in their relationship with Christ.

Our next meeting will be on Thursday, May 18, from 6-8pm.

We’ll also discuss the walks you all have done on your own!
Let me know if you’ll be able to make the meeting or not. Feel free to share this information with anyone who wants to participate in the Community Engagement Team.

**We will also be collecting peanut butter, macaroni and cheese, and pasta for Metrocrest Services food pantry (3 items they are needing).**
Each month we share Christian love, fellowship, prayer, and a meaningful devotional, and, of course, a wonderful meal. There will be no meeting in June or July, but August will be our annual planning session!
