Trinity Centres Foundation Update:

Timeline of Redevelopment Project:

Phase 1:  This initial phase of determining if a development project is feasible will take three months.

Phase 2 & 3:

If it is successful (Phase 1), it will take another three months to draft an expression of interest and secure a development partner.

Once that is done, timing is dependent on the city for rezoning and other parts of the development like architecture etc.

That process can be up to two years like in Ottawa or shorter in cities like Regina.

I like to tell clients from signing of the contract to shovels in the ground is 2 to 4 years.

This information I am sharing with BBUC about the estimated timeframe of redevelopment for BBUC.

Respectfully Submitted by:

Chair of “Raise the Roof” Committee

Adriana Colavecchia

Change in Date of Annual Meeting

New Date: Sunday, May 28, 2023,
after the worship service.

The date of our Annual Meeting has been changed to allow more time to prepare for the meeting. The rescheduling will allow everyone to focus on the April 29 community town hall meeting and give us more time to complete some other work before we meet as a congregation at the Annual Meeting.  The 2022 Annual Report is ready and is being sent out next week so you can read it at your leisure.
We will email it again in mid-May, with a reminder about the meeting.

Please mark the new date on your calendar.

A big thanks to Michele for planting the barrels by the front entrance with beautiful spring bulbs and pansies.
They look lovely and are blooming as we speak!
Organic Heirloom Tomatoe Plants For Sale

Michele & Adriana are growing organic heirloom tomatoe plants to sale.

All proceeds from the tomatoes will be used to purchase rain barrels and other supplies for the BBUC community garden.  We are also looking for a small garden shed to store tools (please let us know if you have one to donate).

The varieties available are:
Black Russian - An unusual rich but sweet taste which has to be tasted to be believed.

Persimmon -
A marvelous flavor - low in acidity, creamy, and fruity.

 Dr.Wycke’s
(Yellow/Orange Beefsteak).  Smooth texture and tropical, sweet taste.

Green Zebra -
Superb mixed with red varieties in salads and tangy flavour.

Solar Flare
(Beefsteak). - Full bodied sweet and tangy tomato flavour.

Cuostralee
(Beef Steak Red).- Intense, balanced, old-fashioned tomatoey flavours.

Earl of Edgecombe.
From New Zealand.  Flavour is rich, sweet and tart all at once.

These are the rural gardener’s favourite tomatoes for easy growing and productivity.

If interested in ordering tomatoes, please email
adrianascolavecchia@rogers.com to place your order.

$4 each plant.  Or buy 4 plants for $15 dollars.
These plants will be a good size!

Other plants are being grown too. We will keep you posted.
We will be selling the tomatoes on the church lawn in mid May.
Thank you for supporting our BBUC community garden!
Thank you for supporting our ecological grass roots efforts!

Our pollinators are grateful!🪲🪰🐝🦋🐞🕷️🦇🦉
