Eucharistic Revival Updates

Year of Parish Revival

In the parish phase of the Eucharistic Revival, all parishes are invited to dive more deeply into the mystery of the Eucharist through prayer, study, devotions and acts of service. Learn more about the diocesan resources and activities at dioceseofcleveland.org/ParishRevival

We are asking each pastor to appoint a point person to oversee the Eucharistic Revival at your parish. We recommend assigning a staff member or parishioner volunteer who (i) is a faithful practicing Catholic who prays and loves our Eucharistic Lord, and (ii) has the available time and organizational skills for this work. Please use this link to submit the name of your Parish Point Person.

As we kick off the parish year, we also encourage everyone to take advantage of the following opportunities this summer:

  • Eucharistic Procession. To celebrate the Solemnity of the Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ, every parish is encouraged to host a Eucharistic Procession on June 11, 2023. Please click here to let us know when the procession has been scheduled for your parish so that we can post on diocesan events.

  • Ballpark Masses.  Join us for one or all four celebrations as we provide a public witness of our Catholic faith and encounter Jesus Christ in the Eucharist and Eucharistic people! Starting on June 11, these monthly outdoor Masses will provide an opportunity for Catholics in the diocese to gather for prayer, food, fellowship, and fun.

  • Prayer at the Heart. Living Eucharistically takes us out to the world to be salt, light and leaven. This ecumenical initiative is an excellent opportunity to go forth as missionary disciples. Faith communities are invited to participate in community service and outreach for 40 days, starting on May 18 and culminating in a praise and worship gathering in downtown Cleveland on June 17 where our own Bishop Malesic will speak along with other faith leaders.

National Eucharistic Congress

The National Eucharistic Congress will be held on July 17-21, 2024 in Indianapolis. Congress passes are now available for individuals, families and groups. Learn more

Information about the diocesan delegation for the National Eucharistic Congress is coming soon.

Caminemos Juntos como Discípulos Eucarísticos

"Journeying Together as Eucharistic Disciples"
Wednesday, May 10, 6:30 pm Mass, 7 pm Presentation
Presenter: Dr. Ximena DeBroeck, STL, PhD

Sponsored by the Secretariat for Catechetical Formation
