 APRIL 20, 2023

The Board of County Commission (BOCC) will hear, discuss and vote on the following items at its April 20th meeting.

***Vote to appoint a new member to the Vacation Home Rental Advisory Board to fill a vacancy due to the resignation of another member. The new appointee must be a VHR permit holder.

***Discuss the Fact Finder's written Findings and Recommendations concerning the contract negotiations between the Sheriff's Deputies and Investigators and Douglas County.

***Vote whether or not to approve a $145,000 contract with CORE Construction for pre-construction services for the Douglas County Justice Center Project.

***Discussion and direction to staff regarding legislative issues proposed by legislators or other entities who have submited bill draft requests that may impact Douglas County.

Correction: I made a mistake in one of my previous newsletters. I stated that the Tahoe Events Center (now formally named the Tahoe Blue Event Center) was the Lake Tahoe Visitors Authority Events Center. The Event Center is actually owned by the Tahoe Douglas Visitors Authority.
