Thank you to everyone who sent me events!  You were invaluable.  It still took me almost 24 hours. I probably won't do any more updates so I packed this one as best I could.  PLEASE take out a pen and start writing events on your calendar as you go through this!! If you end up not being able to go, that is OK, but your own calendar entry will remind you in case you can attend.  Please help your communities by SHOPPING LOCAL and attending events. I apologize for the length & any errors.  I don't know why some whole entries are bolded, entries are different sizes, etc. They are all OK on my end but don't print out that way. At least it is finished!  See you at some of the events.  Sandee

SURVEY NOTICE ATTACHED FROM
Iowa County Emergency Management, Keith Hurlbert, Director, 109 E. Leffler Street, Dodgeville WI 53533, Office Phone 608-930-9540
Fax 608-935-
keith.hurlbert@iowacounty.org   4/21/23In 2023, County and Tribal Emergency Managers across the State will be developing a Multiyear Integrated Preparedness Plan or (IPP). The IPP is a schedule of preparedness priorities; one of the ways emergency managers can determine what those priorities are is by conducting a survey. County Emergency Managers from Crawford, Grant, Green, Iowa, Lafayette, Richland and Vernon Counties, in partnership with SW Regional Planning Commission developed the SW Integrated Preparedness Survey to better understand community preparedness needs. The survey will be used to drive discussions in an upcoming workshop to assist in identifying threats, hazards, and risks; developing preparedness priorities for addressing those risks; and utilizing the integrated preparedness cycle to build, sustain, and deliver capabilities aligned with the preparedness priorities.  The survey results and the information gathered from the upcoming preparedness workshops will be used in the development of the IPP.  The IPP is not limited to just training and exercises but is being developed to address potential gaps in response and recovery capabilities and to improve overall preparedness efforts across our County.   The survey should take no more than 10-15 minutes to complete and can be accessed at: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/IPPWsurveySWWI.  If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to via email at keith.hurlbert@iowacounty.org or phone at 608.930.9540. Thank you for being a part of our community’s preparedness, response, and recovery efforts.  Respectfully, Keith Hurlbert, CEM, Emergency Management Director
