DTM Ukraine is pleased to share with you Round 22 of the Ukraine DTM Baseline Assessment. The data collected for this round reflects the registered IDP population as of 31 March 2023 across 23 oblasts and Kyiv city.

Key findings for this round include:

  • As of 31 March, there were 3,614,749 registered IDPs in the 23 assessed oblasts and Kyiv city.
  • Overall, DTM recorded an increase of 2,134 registered IDPs since Round 20 (28 February). 
  • Kharkivska (475,472)Dnipropetrovska (376,307) and Kyivska (331,662) oblasts have the highest number of formally registered IDPs.
  • Gender disaggregated data on registered IDPs was provided by 79 per cent of assessed hromadas. In those hromadas, 60 per cent of registered IDPs were female and 40 per cent were male.
  • At the hromada level, Kyivska, Kharkivska and Zaporizka host the highest number of recorded IDPs, with over 140,000 each. 
  • Eastern oblasts host proportionally higher shares of male registered IDPs and a lower shares of individuals under 18 years of age among registered IDPs.
The data presented are sourced from records of registered IDPs provided by hromada officials, likely representing an undercount of those who were forced to flee their homes, the attached report provides more details on the methodology used.  


 

The report and dataset at hromada level are for RESTRICTED CIRCULATION only, following the OCHA data sensitivity classification.
