Here is your update for May 10, 2023. 
So... what are you doing this summer?  Is there ever a perfect answer?  We believe so, especially if your plans include OLLI at Emory.  We are doing our best to plan some meetups, events and courses that will keep you entertained and learning this summer.  We hope you will join us in the fun, because we look forward to seeing you!

Go with OLLI, join in the discussion about travel
Join other OLLI members tomorrow, Thursday, May 11th at 1:00pm at OLLI at Emory.  Glenna and Calvin Harris will talk about a trip they just embarked on to Amsterdam and the Keukenhof Gardens. Last month  
Shirley McQueen talked about some Canada tour options from EF Tours (Go Ahead Tours).  These two were discussed:  
  1. Canadian Rockies by Train: Banff, Lake Louise and Vancouver
  2. Canadian Maritimes: Nova Scotia to Prince Edward Island

Multicultural Potluck, All Members invited!
Come join us  on Friday, May 19th from 12 - 1:30pm. Let's meet and learn about each other through food. Where is your family from? What is the dish that represents your family. Each person will bring their favorite family dish. Be prepared to say a little something about your dish and why it's important to you. Romance, Deception, and Magic beneath the big top of a traveling circus
Based on the critically acclaimed and best-selling novel, Water for Elephants takes you on an adventure filled with romance, deception, and a little bit of magic, all under the big top of a traveling circus. 

Join other OLLI Members in a group meet-up for, Water for Elephants, Performance on Sunday, July 9th at 2:30pm. Held on The Coca-Cola Stage at the Alliance Theatre. OLLI has reserved orchestra seats. $32.00 per person. Limited seats, sign-up now.
