Exciting news! The official poster for the 10th edition of the Korean Film Festival has been released. The design is inspired by the BOJAGI, a Korean quilt, and symbol of KFFC 10! Our time and space weave together like the threads of the BOJAGI, connecting us through unceasing migration and diasporic narratives across all cultures and communities.
Be sure to keep an eye out for the poster around town and on social media, and mark your calendars for the festival dates. It's going to be an unforgettable event!

The Cinematheque is a film institute located in Vancouver, Canada that curates and presents programs of classic and contemporary films from around the world, and hosts events, discussions, and community outreach programs that promote film and media education. They prioritize inclusivity, diversity, and support for emerging and established artists while fostering local and national talent.
KFFC is proud to partner with The Cinematheque in co-presenting eight films that showcase the comprehensiveness of their programming.

KFFC 10 declares May 18th as K-ART DAY in commemoration of the democratic Gwangju Uprising struggles that broke out on this day in 1980 in Korea.
Art played a crucial role in expressing their messages and ideals, and K-Art Day celebrates the important role of art in representing the struggle for freedom and democracy.
Join us for KFFC 10 as we present two films that capture the essence of these historic movements.

The Cinematheque est un cinéma situé à Vancouver présentant des programmes de films classiques et contemporains du monde entier, et organisant des événements, des discussions ainsi que des programmes de sensibilisation en communauté promouvant et l'éducation au cinéma et aux médias. Ils promeuvent l'inclusivité, la diversité tout en soutenant les artistes à la fois établis et émergents mais aussi en favorisant les talents locaux et nationaux.

FFCC 10 | K-ART DAY - 18 MAI
|
|
|
FFCC 10 déclare le 18 mai comme le "K-ART Day" en commémoration des luttes démocratiques du soulèvement de Gwangju qui ont éclaté ce jour-là en 1980 en Corée.
L'art a joué un rôle crucial dans l'expression de leurs messages et de leurs idéaux. Ainsi, le K-Art Day célèbre le rôle important de l'art dans la représentation de la lutte pour la liberté et la démocratie.
Rejoignez-nous pour le FFCC 10 dans lequel nous présenterons deux films qui capturent parfaitement l'essence de ces mouvements historiques.
