The 100 Series caster was the very first caster built at Algood. It’s not a complicated caster and it doesn’t come with many options. But in over 50 years we have sold millions of them because they get the job done and they are budget-friendly.

This simple caster has no raceway. Rather it uses a round stem and either a wood or plastic insert in metal tubing. It is available as 2” x 7/8” or 1-5/8” x 11/16” configuration with a number of different wheels including our Prothane™ and Envirothane™. There is also a 2” x 7/8” dual-wheel option with Polyolefin wheels.
There is one option available in our 200 Series. It’s a 2”’ x 15/32” configuration that comes with Polyolefin wheels.

The 100 and 200 series casters are produced in our integrated manufacturing plant in Toronto. Because of that, you can get outstanding lead times, dependable delivery dates and trusted North American quality backed by our 3-year No Excuse Warranty. That also means these casters can be manufactured to custom specifications

These casters come with a corrosion-resistant bright zinc finish and other finishes are possible with qualifying orders. A side lock brake is available with some configurations.
Applications for these two casters series include bed frames, cribs, light-duty furniture as well as television and stereo stands.
