Here is your update for May 17, 2023. 
We wanted to make sure you were aware of everything we have going on at OLLI this week, so we decided to send the newsletter out a bit early.  This Thursday, Bonnie Davis has a presentation about Artificial Intelligence. Friday, Lawrence Saul has a Modern Warfare one day course, where he will discuss the on-going spy balloon incident, NATO's provisions for Ukraine and discussions about Artificial Intelligence (AI). Also, this Friday, is our Social Potluck at 12pm, it's not too late to join in on the fun. Next week, we have a meet-up at Hopdoddy's Burger Bar on Thursday, May 25, 2-4pm.,details for that event are below too.

Modern Warfare with COL (Ret) Lawarence Saul
This Friday, May 19th 10am-1pm, lunch included
Evolving from the two previous classes. This third edition goes deeper into detail on the on-going spy balloon incident as well as the growing realization that China has gained leverage over the USA; NATO's provision of modern main battle tanks for the Ukraine; and how AI can and will have a huge impact on future societies.  Additionally, any other major topic that pops up between now and class time.

Previous course not a perquisite.

Alzheimer’s and other dementias cause memory, thinking, and behavior problems that interfere with daily living. The Alzheimer’s Association® developed the new 10 Warning Signs of Alzheimer’s education program to help people recognize common signs of the disease and know what to watch for in themselves and others. Romance, Deception, and Magic beneath the big top of a traveling circus
Based on the critically acclaimed and best-selling novel, Water for Elephants takes you on an adventure filled with romance, deception, and a little bit of magic, all under the big top of a traveling circus. 

Join other OLLI Members in a group meet-up for, Water for Elephants, Performance on Sunday, July 9th at 2:30pm. Held on The Coca-Cola Stage at the Alliance Theatre. OLLI has reserved orchestra seats. $32.00 per person. Limited seats, sign-up now.
