- June 4. Ma’alot Farm event at Beth David, hosted by Rabbis Philip and Shoshana Ohriner and their sons. Sign up at: Homesteading at Ma'alot Farm. Requests for volunteer support are being sent by Bonnie Slavitt.

- Ladies Who Lunch – July 13. This will be a welcome luncheon for Shelley Kunin, hosted by Rhoda Bress. Details to come.
OTHER CBD EVENTS TO KNOW ABOUT
- Judaica Road Showcase – Sunday, May 21, 1 -4 pm. CBD will host its very own "Judaica Road Showcase" on May 21. Although the sign up window has passed for exhibitors, everyone is welcome to attend. Contact Hillary Farkas (hjfarkas@sbcglobal.net) for more information and to see how you can participate in the event. CALL FOR VOLUNTEERS: Volunteers are needed to help at the event! - Beth David Crafters’ Guild – next meeting May 22, 3 – 5 pm, Congregation Beth David. The initial meeting of the Crafters’ Guild was hosted by Ricki Lee Gafter and Ann Taven last month. Mondays were the most popular choice at present for meetings for those who responded, avoiding the problem of getting access to the building on Sundays when it is empty. Exact room location is still TBD. You do not have to be a crafter; social members are also welcome. Many thanks to those who have stepped up to take various roles in the running of BDW. There are still a few roles that are open. Right now, we need volunteers for the following:
Beth David Women brochure update: We need a volunteer to help update the brochure for BDW.
Chanukah lunch committee members: Volunteer to help with our BDW Chanukah luncheon in December (date TBD).
Photographer(s) – can be more than one person:
- Solicit a host for each month, if needed
- Submit Intake form to CBD office (update)
- Confirm with host 6 weeks in advance and gather information (we have a Google Form for this!)
- Assist host as needed
- Work with Joyce and host on preparing SignUp Genius invites
LWL/DWL Coordinator:
- Solicit a host for each month, if needed
