St. Anthony High School – May 5, 2023
A Note from the
President

Dear Saints families,

The month of May is when we start to think about planting gardens, plan for family celebrations such as graduation, and begin to make vacation plans.

It’s also the Month of Mary.

Mary is Mother – your mother, my mother, everyone’s mother – and because she cares for all of us day-in-and-day-out without fail, interceding for us in even the tiniest matters. For that, she deserves an entire month in her honor.

Next week is Faculty and Staff Appreciation Week. ASB and the PEP committee have been hard at work preparing to celebrate our Faculty and Staff that work tirelessly to make sure St. Anthony High School is a fantastic place to be for everyone. Please join me in thanking your favorite Teacher, Staff member, and Administrator next week. Their dedication to serving our students is inspiring.

Academics

Registration for Summer School 2023 is now open.
During the week of May 1-5 parents of students for whom summer school is either required (to remediate semester grades of F in core courses) or recommended (to improve grades of D in core courses) will receive an email with specific information regarding summer school as it relates to their son/daughter. Another mailing will go out after second semester grades have been posted.

Questions about Summer School 2023 can be directed to Ms. Tamara Martinez at tamara.martinez@longbeachsaints.org

We are hopeful that we will be able to offer Honors Geometry this summer for students who have been approved for Honors Geometry. At this time, we are just a few students short of the minimum needed to offer the course.  An email was sent to all qualified students and their parents regarding the summer school offering. Pease check for this email if your son/daughter was approved for Honors Geometry and take a minute to respond if you have not already done so.
