As many of you know, there is a major construction project on Sperl St., which has required some roads near our school to be closed.  The road closure will affect our ability to safely use Haskell for preschool drop-off (8:10-8:30) in the mornings. Because of this, we are making some changes for all Pre-K-8 drop-offs, effective immediately on Thursday, May 4th!

Between 8:10-8:30am, ALL FAMILIES will use the school parking lot. Cars will enter as normal from the north entrance.

- PreK families: Proceed to lane 1. Pull all the way forward to the cone or the next parked car. Put your car in park. Help your child meet their preschool teacher in the grassy area. Please wait to drive forward until directed by COS staff.

- K-8 Families: Proceed to lane 4, 5, or 6. Pull all the way forward to the cone or the next parked car. Put your car in park. Students from the front two cars in each lane will get out and walk across to the steps. Please wait to move forward until directed.

We appreciate everyone's understanding and flexibility!
Below are grade specific raffle basket themes:

Dear Middle School Parents:

We are going to begin teaching the Sexual Education unit in Health class on May 4th.

I appreciate your right as a parent/guardian to have your child learn the sexuality information from you as you feel it’s appropriate for your child.

If you opt your student out of any of the topics, your student will be allowed to leave Health class. The expectation is that your student will work on and hand in alternate assignments which will be graded during the parts of the sexuality unit when your student is opted out.

Opt out forms were given to your student, to take home. If you would like your student to opt out of any of the classes please fill out the form and have your student return the form to Mr. Wong. Opt out forms only need to be handed in if you wish for your student to opt out of any of the classes. Forms do not need to be turned in if you wish for your student to attend every class.

If you have not received a form or have any questions, please contact Mr. Wong at jwong@communityofsaints.org

Congratulations to all the swimmers from Community of Saints who competed in the swim meet last Friday!
