Assalamu Alaikum Beloved MCC Community:

We are sorry to announce the passing of Sister Rafaat Jehan Syed, of San Ramon.

Her Janazah was today, Thursday, May 4, at Islamic Society of East Bay in Fremont followed by burial at Five Pillars Cemetery in Livermore.

The Qur'an Khatam will be held this Saturday, May 6, at 3 p.m. at San Ramon Valley Islamic Center.

Sr. Rafaat is the wife of Br. Saleem Syed (past SRVIC President) and mother of Zahra and Mehreen Syed.

We ask Allah (SWT) to bless her soul with His forgiveness and mercy, accept her prayers and good deeds, and make her among the people of Paradise. May Allah (SWT) give her family and friends patience and increase them in Iman.

Allahumma Ameen (O' Allah, hear this prayer).
