Hi again. Looks like I somehow omitted some fairly important information about the upcoming Songwriting Workshops: the time they start. I don't know how this happened because I just reused last month’s email template and changed the dates. But whatever… both workshops start at 7.30 pm. I always like to turn up to Thornbury early and buy a meal, to support their business that very generously lets us take over their upstairs room once a month. So see you there! (Though make sure you book!)
At our songwriting workshops, people take turns playing a song to each other and get feedback, comments, suggestions, and so on. It’s great for improving your songs and learning to think about them in different ways.
The May 2023 workshops are on Monday 15th (in person in Thornbury) and Wednesday 17th (online over Zoom).
The optional theme, for those who want to write a song specifically for the workshop, is: SHADOW.
