To mark the 25th anniversary year of the Belfast/Good Friday Agreement, the Assembly of European Regions (AER) invites you to join its PEACE 25: Everyday Peacemakers Conference in Leuven, Belgium on 8-9 June. The conference will focus on community-based peace and reconciliation initiatives in Ireland and across Europe, and will be opened by European Commissioner Mairead McGuinness.
AER, in partnership with the International Fund for Ireland and co-hosted by the Irish College of Leuven, invites members and partners to join seminars with leading experts and practitioners on the following themes:
Support for peace and reconciliation initiatives;
Women’s leadership in peace-building, and;
Cultural and community-based initiatives for reconciliation.
The Full Conference programme will be issued later this week.
