We take on the identity of being a chosen people for the purpose of declaring and living the way of Jesus. This way of life, faith, and identity is intended to proclaim love, peace, justice, and solidarity with all of humankind and all of creation.
Second Hour
Potluck and discussion about HMC being a sister church to Iglesia Menonita Casa de Restauración, Houston, TX, a church plant in North Houston led by Aurora and Alberto Parchmont, pastors at Iglesia Menonita Casa del Alfarero, Pasadena TX. The Church Planting Commission of Western District Conference encourages new church plants to partner with established churches for support relationally, financially, spiritually, and in mission.
Casa de Restauración has been meeting in a home and sharing meals for the past several months. Elizabeth Melendez attends the group and is the HMC Liaison.
Preschool through elementary age have supervised activities in the Children’s Room.
Childcare Provided
Our childcare worker will be Ida Earle. Ida has classroom experience in caring for children in public education and other settings.
