PC Monthly Gathering

You may have noticed the Newsletter announcements or wondered about the joyful noise and commotion coming from the corner before the start of our D14 Dems monthly Community Meetings.  These are PC Corner gatherings, back by popular demand.  As in the past, we'll meet monthly, before the start of the Community Meeting, from 6:30 - 6:55pm.

Please be willing to share some of the exciting, innovative things you've been doing in your precinct -- or some of the not-so-successful activities you've tried.  The gathering is meant to be a sharing and learning experience for us all.  We'll also be surveying PCs for ideas on how the Board and each of us can better support your efforts.  Hope to see you all there!

Bylaws are Coming
        Mark Your Calendar

Because of changes made in Arizona election laws, our District 14 Democratic Party is now required to have its own set of bylaws.  Working from a set of model bylaws, a team of volunteer PCs including two Executive Board members and two able assistants (Mike Flores, Elizabeth Brown, Bruce Flocken, and Dale Volz) prepared a draft set of bylaws. After the Executive Board has finished reviewing and revising the draft, a copy of the proposed bylaws will be sent to all District PCs who are responsible for approving the final version. Mark your calendars!  We will likely be voting on these Bylaws at our monthly District meeting on June 19.

Become a PC!

Precinct Committee Members (PCs) are the grassroots lifeblood of the Democratic Party. Get to know your elected officials and candidates on a personal basis and give them feedback. Make your voice heard more effectively than just being a registered voter. Participate in the decision-making process in the Party. Vote for the leadership of the Party at all levels: precinct, legislative district, county, state, and national.
