Hyrum Weibell
Hyrum has been learning to work on pianos since 2004. He maintains a piano service business specializing in concert work, rebuilding and in-home maintenance. He services clients such as Utah Symphony, Utah State University, Daynes Music, the Gina Bachauer Foundation and others. He enjoys collaborating, working with others, sharing piano tech skills, and learning new things about the piano.
For his presentation this month Hyrum will share his favorite method for stringing pianos including several game-changing tips and tools. These are techniques for replacing one string or many. Bring your favorite stringing tools to discuss, compare and share as we all take time to become better at stringing pianos.

In Review
In our April meeting Jim Busby gave a presentation about stringing techniques. We learned string leveling, coil tightening, mating the hammer to the strings. His class included some hands on activities.
