Dear Friend, 

I’ve been thinking about how much the world needs HOPE. Economic uncertainty, disunity, and personal pressures seem to be at an all time high, while good news seems to be at an all time low. It’s easy to look at what’s happening around us and feel discouraged, yet the powerful truth is that God is greater than what we see! 

I Peter 1:3 says, “Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead.” And this LIVING HOPE is what we can rest in moment by moment, despite what’s going on around us. God is in control, and He is pouring out His Spirit in our world. He’s not done rescuing, redeeming, and restoring, and that’s the good work that Hour of Power gets to do every day, thanks to friends like you! 

Because of Jesus’ goodness and the faithfulness, lives are being transformed. I was touched by a testimony I read recently from Marsha, who said, “I continue to find hope and encouragement through many facets of your ministries throughout the years.
