New Dean stepping in early
Professor Nicholas Rule is getting an early start to his four-year term as UTM’s Dean, which officially begins on July 1, 2023.
From May 9 to May 31, U of T Vice President and UTM Principal Alexandra Gillespie and Provost Cheryl Regehr have appointed Rule as Acting Vice-Principal, Academic & Dean to fill in for Professor Amrita Danière, who is temporarily on health leave, recovering well from a hip surgery.

Kids invited to free Climate Camp
Registration is now open for Kids Climate Camp, a free one-day engaging and interactive day of learning designed for kids of UTM faculty, staff, and librarians, ages 8-12 (Grades 3-6). Presented by MScSM Program and the UTM Sustainability Office, Kids Climate Camp will take place from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Monday, June 12 (a PA Day for some local school boards).
