Anvil Concert Information

It’s not long until the Anvil Concert on 21st May 2023

We are all looking forward to hearing your children play in such a prestigious venue and want to ensure this is a concert that your children will remember so we need your help to fill the concert hall.

Please tell your friends and family about the concert and ask them to come along and support.

Tickets can be booked online here.

Please share the link or our Facebook Posts widely.

Concert Uniforms

All outstanding ordered concert uniforms will be delivered during this week to conductors.

We will try provide late order uniforms direct to the player at The Anvil Rehearsal but cannot guarantee exact sizing for late orders.

Performers arriving and leaving.

Exact arrival and meeting arrangements for rehearsals will be provided by your conductors and may vary from the overall plan but the main schedule is detailed here should you need it.      https://www.bayo-hampshire.org.uk/events-page

There is no drop off or parking at the stage door of the Anvil. Parking is available in nearby car parks.

For daytime rehearsals, performers will arrive and leave via stage door.

However, when performers return in the evening, the BEASE, BAYSTO groups and the BAYC group will arrive via the front of house.

BEASE, BAYSTO will then go to the Forge, and BAYC will go to the Circle foyer.

At the end of the concert : Reuniting information:

- Reuniting for all performing groups, except BAYPE (percussion), will take place in the foyers and/or auditorium. Parents will be instructed to remain seated whilst their child goes to their reuniting area – this will be communicated in advance information, by the programme and also by compere from the stage. Once the children have assembled in their reuniting areas, the compere will instruct the parents to go to the reuniting area in staggered intervals.

- BAYPE will reunite and leave via stage door. If any of the parents are entering the

building to assist with percussion and/or other get out arrangements, they must sign in and out on the organisers backstage register.

- Any parent not attending the concert, who needs access to the foyer to collect their

child will require a Foyer Access Pass. These will be emailed out to parents.

100 Club

Subscription to The Friends of BAYOC 100 Club is now the preferred financial support for The Friends, although adhoc donations are also welcomed. The 100 club allows you to pay in quarterly instalments and gives you the opportunity to win at the same time.  Susannah Stanley our 100 club coordinator and some volunteers will be available in the Foyer with the forms needed to join. All you need is your bank account details on the day to set up a standing order.
