Week of May 14, 2023
Hi Friends, 

I am so thankful for this rain! And I am so thankful each of you. May you be refreshed and renewed in your walk with the Lord. May he pour down "showers of blessings" on you today as you draw closer to Him. 
Let us draw near to God with a sincere heart..." Hebrews 10:22

A few more housekeeping things this week: 

Extra Cubbies (Cube Storage Containers)
Most of our Life Groups share space with Woodway Christian School, discipleship classes, other life groups, etc. If you need a place to store small extra items, there are several more cubbies available in the Life Group office. Please let me know you want one or just take an empty one and write your name on the paper. I'll purchase more containers for the empty spots as we need them. 

Extra Books
In the Life Group office (on top of the cube storage space), there are a handful of Bible dictionaries, Bible atlases, and Bible guides. If you did not get one earlier this year, please feel free to grab one. These are great resources to use as you teach and lead your groups.

SUMMER KICKOFF  | JUNE 10
Let's get this summer going! Invite your Life Group to join you for this fun evening on Saturday, June 10 at 5:30 pm (under the grove of trees on campus). There will be a taco bar, dessert, homemade salsa contest, games, water slide, and La Pasión dramatization by Viento Fuerte. Bring a lawn chair or a blanket and come enjoy the evening!

GLOBAL PARTNER DINNER | T FAMILY  | MAY 15
The FW family is invited to celebrate and hear about all God is doing in and through the T family during their time serving internationally. Email Lynn Brooks at lbrooks@firstwoodway.org if you would like to attend.

FW Family is invited to celebrate and hear all God is doing in and through the T family in the Middle East. 

GOODTIMERS MAY MEMORIAL DINNER  // MAY 23
Starts at 6:00 pm in the Worship Center.

All adult 9:30 am Life Groups are invited to breakfast on the 3rd floor middle rooms from 9:30 - 10:00 am. We will also have a place for members to get their pictures taken for our church community builder (ccb) database. 

SUMMER DATE NIGHTS  // JUNE 15-29 from 6:00 - 8:00 pm  
Summer Date Nights are back! Come for a short teaching session in The Venue, then steal some kid-free time with your spouse to process what you just learned. Each week we will cover a different topic to enrich your marriage. The cost is free (childcare included). Registration opens May 10, and you'll need to sign up for each night individually - on the app or website. Also note, the childcare deadline is the Sunday before each week, so don't wait!
