We work in partnership with our community to gift and rehome high-quality donated nursery and children's goods, ensuring all families have access to essential resources needed to raise thriving children, while reducing the amount of goods sent to landfill in our region.

Together with our community of supporters, we celebrated our Official Launch on Wednesday 29 March!
Our launch was made possible by the incredible in-kind contributions of local businesses including Grand Events Hire & Styling, Star Printing, Dale Cleves Music Warrnambool, Salt. Restaurant & Wine, Kings Catering, Woolworths Warrnambool Stores, Sunday Sprinkles, Cove Coffee Van, and Coastal Wholesalers. Thank you so much for your generous support!
We gratefully thank our Founding Donor Colin & Janice McKenna of The Midfield Group - Your generous contribution was vital to Loved & Shared's successful establishment. We thank our incredibly generous establishment donors and in-kind supporters including individual donors, businesses, local philanthropic trusts and community groups. Thank you sincerely for your belief in the Loved & Shared vision and the important work we set out to achieve.
Our successful establishment has depended on our community and continues to be crucial to our organisation's ongoing operational success - It takes a village to raise a child, and we look forward to our journey together!

A summary of our journey since becoming operational

It's been 6 months since we opened our doors to onboard volunteers, accept donated goods, connect with support services and agencies to partner in the distribution of gifts, and engage and welcome the community to learn more about us and get involved! We also commenced gift distribution in late April, an exciting milestone for Loved & Shared! Take a look at what we've achieved so far. . .

We developed an innovative ordering system!
|
|
We've been busy designing and building an innovative online ordering system with Web Developers Codedrips and Designers Mr. Walter.
Our ordering system has been designed to make the ordering process user-friendly for our distribution partners, while also providing a system that moves away from a referral-style form and can involve the client in the ordering process. Our Regional Need
20% of the population aged 0-8 in the region are considered vulnerable on 1 or more of the 5 critical childhood development criteria, this is significantly higher than the state average.
We aim to save 3+ tonnes of good quality items going to landfill every year.
Local data from four LGAs (Warrnambool, Moyne, Southern Grampians & Corangamite), confirm that 1 in 5 children live in poverty.
