Our first ever staff immersion trip to India
International delegations are usually the domain of academic leaders, but as a university famous for doing things differently,
we sent a large delegation of professional services staff to India for our immersion trip.

Scoring a goal for the development of women's football
Our pioneering work to establish the University as a beacon for women's football has featured on the

Youngsters from schools across Essex were treated to a celebration of science at the University. Year 9 pupils were treated to exhibitions showcasing our world-leading researchers within the cutting-edge labs across our Colchester Campus.

Air inspires puppet workshop 
Second-year drama students got the chance to
develop new skills in puppetry and object-led theatre at an annual intensive workshop. Working with professionals from Theatre-Rites they made puppets out of balloons, giant fans, feathers and even rubber rings.
