Congratulations to the incredible cast and crew of The Wizard of Oz.  It was truly a night to remember. Thank you to Maria Welser, Ali Arzeni, Esther Pomranky, Ginny Brunner, Oksana Kuzma, and Catherine Bird for everything they did to make this wonderful show happen!

Spirit Week

Rocket Raffle

The Rocket Raffle is upon us and the raffle tickets were sent home with your youngest or only child.  Please make sure to check their backpacks.  This is the second and last opportunity to meet your familles fundraising requirement of $500. 

The ticket return deadline is Wednesday, May 31st and the drawing will be held Friday, June 2nd.  If you have any questions about your fundraising please contact Kim Wallett at 773-892-1397 or email kwallett@alphonsusacademy.org.

Let's Dance!

Last Friday, the 7th and 8th graders invited students from Immaculate Conception St. Joseph for a UMS Dance! Fun was had all around!

Tip Your Teachers

Thank you to all who came out to Tip Your Teachers!  We raised over $2,000 in tips (not included Olive Black's martini giveback) and will go towards the Faculty Fund.  Big thanks to Mrs. Dubiel and Mrs. Sikorski for working behind the bar.  To donate directly to the Faculty Fund, click here.

Grandest Person Day

Reminder, grandest person day will take place at 1pm on Friday, May 19th. We will have a mass dedicated to our grand people, followed by a reception at school.

Great Performance by AACA Track and Field Team

Sunday, April 23rd's meet results:  Our JV boys team got 5th out of 30 teams!  Girls 4x100m relay team placed in 3rd:  Nora M. (7th), Arwen M. (7th), Grayson R. (7th), and Ally S. (7th).  Boys 4x100m relay placed in 2nd:  John G. (7th), Joseph H. (6th), Drake J. (7th), and Luke R. (7th).  Tuesday, April 25th's meet results:  Sabine M. received 1st in the long jump!

Totus Tuus

Totus Tuus is coming back to St. Alphonsus this summer, July 23 - 28. Students grades 1st - 12th are all welcome!
