In recognition of Global Volunteer Month (April), we thank all of our volunteers past and present. From community-minded businesses to thoughtful individuals, we’re grateful for each and every volunteer who has shared their skills with WCFR. We couldn’t be the organization we are today without our incredibly kind and dedicated volunteers who take on a variety of tasks and projects that support our life-saving mission “to prevent deaths worldwide through education and training”.
WCFR celebrates our incredible volunteers this month and all year long. This month, we celebrate our volunteers in many ways including through social media and special visits. While COVID required us to put some of our volunteer program on hold, we hope to reestablish all of our activities in the near future. Our volunteers are the heart of Worldwide Community First Responder, Inc. Thank you all for the impact you have made on our communities locally and abroad throughout WCFR’s 11 year history.

BREAKING NEWS! Our very own WCFR Founder & President, Dr. Jacqueline Cassagnol, PhD, MSN, RN defended her dissertation and earned her PhD in Nursing at Pace University. We congratulate her on this major accomplishment. A PhD (Doctor of Philosophy) is a doctoral research degree and the highest level of academic qualification you can achieve. According to the US Census Bureau, only 1.2% of the US population has a PhD. This makes having a PhD very rare. We are very proud of all Dr. Jacqueline Cassagnol’s accomplishments. Learn More →

We are very proud that our programs have proven to empower individuals in their own community and save lives. WCFR has educated and trained over 425,000 people worldwide. It has been very exciting working with colleagues, friends, volunteers, partners, donors, and thought leaders to meet our mission. Although, we are currently focused on the U.S. and Haiti, our long term goal is to cover the entire globe. This is only our beginning.
