FOCB Meeting Rescheduled

Apologies for the last minute notice, but we need to reschedule tonight's FOCB meeting. The next meeting will take place on Monday, May 8th at 6:30pm. Since the Wind Ensemble will be rehearsing in the band room at that time, we will likely be meeting in the choir room. See you then!

While I've got you, here are a couple newsletter items that just missed this morning's publishing deadline:

State Band Championship Invite

The Cleveland HS Wind Symphony will be performing at the OSAA OREGON STATE BAND CHAMPIONSHIPS at the Stewart LaSells Auditorium on the Oregon State Campus on Saturday, May 13th. Our band is scheduled to perform at 3:45PM. OSAA does require a ticket, and those can be purchased at this OSAA Ticketing Page.

STARLIGHT PARADE PREP

Marching Shoes
It is required that every student have a pair of shoes that are entirely black.

No other colors can be on the shoe at all, including the trim, laces, soles, etc.

I would recommend a comfortable pair of shoes. I know we found nice Nike shoes that were completely black when we shopped for our kids. I do feel that shopping locally is the best plan, because the shoes can be tried on for fit.

There is also a marching shoe that you can purchase through THIS WEBSITE. (You will want to choose STYLE 407 BLACK)

We do have some shoes in our inventory that are used, but still in decent shape to loan to students. It would be best to have something in hand before Memorial Day weekend, if possible.

Required Marching Practices
These are the required after school marching practices:
5/22, 5/24, 5/31, 6/2 (ALL OF THESE FROM 3:45PM - 5:45PM)
