Hello Everyone! OK y'all, Mercury Retro is doing its thang!! so I hope you're navigating as consciously as possible. On one hand, if things were already going haywire beforehand, now that it is Retrograde, things could actually go your way. It is great for corrections, fixing, adjusting and turning things around for the better. On the other hand, if your rhythm is being disrupted, delayed or detoured, then you need to chill out and not try to push the river or force your will on the situation. I promise, once it goes forward, we will all be better off no matter what we lose along the way. Radical Trust. Back to Basics. Tend to your daily physical practice and daily spiritual practice and prepare for forward movement but don't plan to be able to activate that until after May 14th, when Mercury goes Direct.
Now, that said, Olokun Rising is going to happen but this year it is a little less structured and more organic. I won't be traveling to Oakland but I will be participating remotely and we will likely hook up a zoom to Honor the Waters of the World so anyone that wants to participate in that, just let me know and I will make sure that you are included when we send out the invite.
The idea is that, if you can, make time to get to natural water - river, lake or ocean - salt water, sweet water or brakish water where they meet. Plan to apologize for human transgressions & disrespect of Water, make an offering, say some prayers, set intentions to do better in the future and spread the word to others - make it a group activity if you can. We are calling those leading a group *Harbor Masters* and those going solo are Mermaids & Mermen.
Even if you cannot physically get to water, YeYe said just light a candle and do your prayers/intentions with a glass of water. Imbue it with your positive intentions and then drink it. It's more about the intent than the props or location. Do what your heart leads you to do to Honor the Water Element and Water Spirits.
