St. Joseph Catholic School is a faith-filled, family atmosphere parish school serving preschool through eighth grade that inspires families to lead, learn and serve through the Catholic faith.
We would like to welcome Miss Clara Pacha to St. Joseph as our new art teacher for grade 5-8. Miss Pacha will work in our building on Wednesdays. Miss Pacha is a graduate of St. Joseph and Xavier and will be graduating from Iowa this spring. We are happy to welcome Clara back to St. Joseph.
In an effort to continue providing transparency regarding the work of the various committees within the Xavier Catholic Schools community, please see the information below regarding the latest meeting held by the middle school exploratory study committee.

Included is the information from the latest meeting held on April 17, 2023 at Regis Middle School. As a reminder, this group is tasked with answering the question by providing a recommendation to the three middle school boards: Is it in the long term best interest for the metro Catholic middle schools to remain independent or become consolidated?

You will find the following documents included with this communication as a way to ensure this process is transparent and clear.
Please take a minute to read the attached document as a way of understanding the work this group is doing.  Should you have any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out to the contacts listed.
Preschool does not need to arrive until 5:45 or later. They will be sitting with their parents in the crowd until they sing at the end of the concert.

Consider American Heritage Girls

My name is Ellie Walz and I am an 8th grader at St. Joseph and AHG Pioneer. I am writing you today to ask you and your daughter to consider joining AHG.

American Heritage Girls is a very fun, faith filled learning experience for girls. Girls are having fun while also serving their community from a young age. Girls form strong bonds with the friends they meet through AHG. At the AHG meetings, the troop separates into different age  groups(Pathfinder, Tenderheart, etc.) and earn badges together. There are bonus meetings and other fun activities in AHG. Examples of this are the bake sale, the Father Daughter Dance, camping, and a Pizza Parry. Along with fun activities, we also do service. We have cleaned the church and oiled the pews, put flags on graves, done roadside cleanup, and made cards for nursing homes. AHG is a great place to send your girls for a very fun learning experience.  Look for more information in the summer and fall about starting AHG next school year.
