FAMILY SINGERS
Singers of all ages are invited to come learn some songs from different parts of the world. We will meet this Sunday (5/7) in Heritage Hall after worship (feel free to bring your coffee/treat over from Fellowship Hall). Contact Tim Cromeenes (tim@lfppc.org) with any questions.

There is NO PRICE to attend the Vision House luncheon, so grab some friends and REGISTER to support this incredible local ministry.

Want a Name Badge?
Maybe you have seen some me people wearing nametags on Sunday morning? Wondering where you can get one for yourself? Take a look on the back wall in the sanctuary foyer for examples and a sign up sheet.

Are you interested in becoming a member
of Lake Forest Park Presbyterian Church?
If so, talk to Pastor Janet or email her at Janet@lfppc. If there's sufficient interest, a class will be offered. Attending the class doesn’t commit a person to joining. It's a chance to explore what it means to be a church member and a Presbyterian. Those who decide to make that commitment will be received into membership during a worship service.

Do you have an interest in playing ukulele? Do you have access to one, want to do something with it, and are anywhere between experienced or beginner? If so, contact Tim Cromeenes at tim@lfppc.org to express your interest and availability to gather, learn, and enjoy making music together! (Also, contact Tim if you have a ukulele and DON’T have any interest in using it—perhaps we can find it a happy home).

The Pastor Nominating Committee (PNC) has entered the next phase of our pastoral search. Our church's Ministry Information Form (MIF) will be posted and live on the Church Leadership Connection (CLC) by Friday. This means we will soon start receiving Personal Information Forms (PIFs) from interested pastors, and batches selected automatically by the CLC from pastors who meet our criteria.
While the PNC looks through these PIFs to narrow down our search, you may have pastors who you would like us to look at, or ones you know who are interested in our congregation. Please tell them to submit their PIF to the Presbytery CLC. (Don't worry, if they're a Presbytery pastor they'll know what the acronyms mean.)
The PNC is transitioning from describing our congregation and the leadership we're looking for, to assessing pastors who are interested in our church or meet our criteria. Soon we'll start narrowing candidates. It's an exciting time for the PNC and we still need your prayers. We're getting closer to our next pastor for LFPPC!

Per Capita for 2023 is $47.13 per church member. If you are a registered Member of LFPPC please consider making a donation to cover your Per Capita costs. This is the amount of money that our church gives directly to Presbytery to help support it's administrative structure. You can simply make a donation to the church and label it for Per Capita. Online Hospitality
Looking for a semi tech savy individual who is willing to be a greeter and monitor for the streaming service on Sundays. Doesn't have to be an every Sunday commitment. Please let Jamie know if you would be willing to keep an eye on the comments online and possibly report technical difficulties.

Food Pantry
Our Little Food Pantry is getting lots of action. Grab-and-Go items seem to be the most popular such as: granola bars, individual size nuts, pop-top cans, beans etc. Items that require significant preparation are less utilized. Donations can be left in the bin across from Fellowship Hall.
Neighbor-to-Neighbor
Neighbor-to-Neighbor is our Deacon's sponsored program to support our congregation members with meals or rides as needed. We currently have a larger number of folks willing to provide meals but would appreciate a few more volunteers to provide rides to occasional medical appointments. If you are able to help, please contact Rocky Meredith at 206.310.6399 or rocmer@comcast.net.
