With Aodhan's second EP Dwelling just around the corner on May 26, the young Dhawaral songwriter gives us the final preview with the release of "When You're Ready" this Friday! 2023 has picked up right where Aodhan left off last year, with the release of "All That I've Wasted" going exceptionally well. The release of this EP will be followed by a NSW tour which sees 5 dates across Sydney, Newcastle & Wollongong.

"When You're Ready" was produced my Aodhan and also his frequent collaborator Ryan Miller who also helped mix this track and the rest of the EP. Mastering for the track was provided by Paul Blakey who also assisted in the rest of the EP.

On his latest tune, Aodhan says, "Ready is based on a time where I confessed my feelings to someone which ended up being politely turned down. I say “based” because looking back on it, it wasn’t that deep, and so the song is a little fictional. Although I’m glad I used the opportunity to write down how I was feeling about it because I’m very very excited by how this song turned out."

The upcoming tour sees Aodhan playing Gosford, Sydney Wollongong & Newcastle. Alongside Aodhan as support for all tour dates will be the incredible singer-songwriter EVE.

Featuring across mainstream media outlets such as Tone Deaf, Pilerats, Courier Mail & Triple J, Aodhan has also been prevalent across editorial playlists from major streaming services such as Spotify and Apple Music. Last year, Aodhan embarked on his first international tour in the UK which saw him showcasing at The Great Escape 2022. Aodhan returned home that year to follow up with an East Coast Tour and another showcase at Bigsound 2022. 2023 is look to be an even brighter year for the Wollongong-based artist and we for one cannot wait to watch it unfold!
