A Note from the
President

Dear Saints families,

Congratulations to all of our students who received awards at our 2023 Academic Awards Convocation. This celebration marks the beginning of our Senior activities as they make new memories and begin their lives after SAHS. As we head into Memorial Day weekend, we would like to acknowledge all of our parents, faculty, staff, alumni, and community members who have served in the Military. We thank you for your bravery and sacrifice for us and our country. You are the true Saints!

Attention Senior Families! Grad Night takes place Tuesday, May 30, 2023 at Disney's California Adventure. Here is what you need to know:

  • Permission slips (in case of an emergency) are due to Mrs. Yanez by 5/29.

  • Students should arrive at St. Anthony at 2:30pm. We will depart from the front of the school at 3pm.

  • It is highly recommended that students get dropped off & picked up or carpool. Parking will be available in the church/parish parking lot.

  • It is recommended that students bring $50-$100 for food, snacks, and/or souvenirs. Disney accepts both cash and cards.

  • Students should be dressed in warm comfortable clothing bearing in mind that the night concludes at 2am.

  • We expect to be back to school between 3 and 4 am. Student arrival depends on how long it takes for us to gather and get on the bus after the conclusion of the night.

  • Students may not ride separately nor "meet us there." All participants must ride the bus and return on the bus.

Finally, it is imperative that students follow Disney's policies and expectations. If a student is caught by Disney personnel doing something against their policies then the Disney Security will take action and the student will be asked to be picked up by their family. I pray that none of our students end up in this situation. The Disney Policies and Expectations can be found HERE. If you have any questions feel free to contact Mrs. Yanez at vanessa.yanez@longbeachsaints.org.
