The North Fork Valley Newsletter has moved to Thursday mornings so that events in the Wednesday's papers and newsletters can be included for the coming weekend.

The North Fork Valley Chamber of Commerce is rolling out a new series of rack cards of area restaurants.  Check them out here:

  • 6/3-6/4 (Sat-Sun): Riverfest & Float Trip at Paonia River Park by Western Slope Conservation Center. This year, WSCC is collaborating with Colorado Farm Food Alliance and The Learning Council to host this much loved community event featuring locally sourced food, drink, entertainment and educational opportunities.   • 6/9 (Fri) 6pm: June's Pottery and Ceramics Theme Opening Reception at The Creamery Art Center's. Refreshments/ice cream for sale. Potters/ceramic sculptors will display their work from May 30th through Tuesday June 6th.  All artists from other mediums may participate.   Openings are a "potluck" kind of affair, so please bring a snack or dish of your choice.  Hotchkiss

A  Memorial Day observance on Monday  May 29 was held at the Hotchkiss Crawford Historical Society Museum at 9:30 a.m. with a presentation by Commander  David Cotten of the Lynch/Cotten Post of the American Legion in Crawford honoring Victor M. Haglund, a Crawford casualty of the Vietnam Conflict.
