Community Soup & Film Night
We're hosting a community soup night on Friday 16th June. Everyone is welcome to join us for some yummy home made soup and great company.
You are also welcome to stay for the St Andrews Film Society monthly film screening, starting at 8pm. If you are not already a member of the Film Society you may attend one movie for free as a guest. See details below on the flyer.

Movement for Mamas
We're excited to be hosting a new activity for Mums and bubs, with a new class at Wadambuk, run by Lauren.
Child Friendly Yoga with Lauren
Tuesday 9:30am
$20 casual or $88 for a 5 pack (valid Term 2 & Term 3)
A 45-minute yoga class where below school-aged kids are welcome to be present. The class is directed towards adults, but if your child wants to join in for as much or as little as they want they are welcome to. Otherwise, they can play, nap, and be in the space for the duration of the class.

Wadambuk needs your help!
The Wadambuk St Andrews Community Centre is a modern well equipped facility, which is available for all the community to use. The Centre is run by a Committee of Management comprised entirely of volunteers; we employ two part-time staff members to handle the day-to-day operations (our staff are not employed by Council).
The centre receives very limited funding from local council. Our primary source of income is from venue hire, which at present is NOT fully covering our operational costs. Grants can sometimes be obtained to run special projects such as the St Andrews Community Festival.
To ensure the Centre can be viable into the future we are currently undertaking a Strategic Planning exercise to help guide us through these very challenging economic times. Your input into what YOU want/expect from your local community centre is IMPERATIVE to the success of our planning and the ongoing sustainability of the centre.
So, PLEASE HELP WADAMBUK by completing this survey and returning to us.
We NEED EVERYBODY'S input, including those who don't use the Centre - no judgement - we just NEED to know WHY!

Free Seniors Social Lunch - RSVP date extended to Friday 26/5/2023
Nillumbik Shire is hosting a Seniors Social Lunch on Thursday 15 June in recognition of World Elder Abuse Awareness Day.
If you are over 55 and living in Nillumbik you are invited to attend our free Seniors Social Lunch. The event is to raise awareness about elder abuse, while creating connections with others over a meal. A two course meal will be served, accompanied by a guest speaker from Seniors Rights Victoria, music by Hana Zreikat and a performance from the Panton Hill Primary School Choir.
