Today's Harvest at Hadley Closing

As a reminder, May 26th will be the last day Today's Harvest at Hadley Ave N will be open. 

Our Today's Harvest market at 8264 4th St N, Oakdale will still remain open. To help us serve more shoppers at the 4th St market, we will be temporarily changing our shopping hours. 

We will be open for these new temporary hours starting May 30th.
Monday to Friday
10:30 am to 6:00 pm
Saturday
10:30 am to 2:00 pm

In addition to our hours changing, we will also be changing our pager policy, starting on May 30th. We will no longer hand out pagers 30 minutes before we open. We will begin handing out pagers when we open each day. 

Please be patient with us during this time of change. We will keep you updated on changes and we hope to have good news soon! 

Starlight Cinema at Ojibway Park

Enjoy an epic outdoor movie series on a 40 foot inflatable screen. Free entertainment and activities begin at 7pm -- like face painting, animal encounters, crafts, hula hoop contests, and more! The movie will start at dusk, and it can be fun for your whole family. 

Movies are played at Ojibway Park, off of Courtly Rd, in Woodbury, MN.

What is Food Rescue?

 

Partnerships between Today’s Harvest and local grocery stores provide fresh grocery store food to use in our Today’s Harvest markets.

Each day, food is picked up from grocery stores, sorted by our volunteers, and picked out by shoppers to take home.

Some of the "sell by" or "use by" dates on these items might be closer than you are typically used to seeing. But there is a big difference between expiration dates and the "best by" dates, "sell by" dates, and "use by" dates you may see on different items. You can learn more about food rescue and expiration dates at https://todaysharvestmn.org/what-is-food-rescue/

Just because school is out doesn't mean that kids can't be learning. During the summer, some students face a "Summer Slide" where they lose academic skills and physical fitness over the summer months. 

The Minnesota Department of Education is committed to providing resources to help stop the summer slide and have kids ready for the next school year. 

The Department of Education has gathered resources to help with reading, math, STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math), arts, and other subjects. With your child, you can find the resources that work best for you to help create a path to success.
