COMING ASHORE PODCAST EXPANSION

The Coming Ashore podcast is being revamped with a fresh new look and a more eclectic range of guests and topics, adding some much needed variety to the audio experience.

We will be talking to industry employers and other maritime professionals as well as our own mentors and successful mentees to present a well-rounded take on the concept of coming ashore. We will be covering a range of topics from the sector, asking those all important questions to guests who have already been through the experience of making the career transition or have inside information on what the programme can provide.

Our 'About a Mentor' podcasts have been well received, giving existing and aspiring mentees an insight into the career journeys of the mentoring team. Each episode delves into how to deal with failure, the importance of using the resources around you and how no route within the maritime sector is the same.

The podcast has also given mentees the opportunity to see which mentor best suits their needs, with some mentors having backgrounds that better align with certain mentees career aspirations.

Stay tuned for our new look podcast on Spotify and Google Podcasts. We will be revealing all very soon!
Whether you are an employer seeking to fill a placement or a mentee seeking some valuable industry experience, please go to our Employers page for more information.
