Congratulations, Class of 2023!

Hats off to the 122 graduates of the class of 2023 who were honored during the La Jolla Country Day School commencement ceremony on Friday, June 2, at the University of San Diego. Altogether, they received over 570 college acceptances and will attend 67 colleges and universities, including two internationally. LJCDS is also proud to recognize 21 lifers from the class of 2023. Our lifers have called LJCDS home for 13 or more years.

Three awards were announced during commencement. Siddharth Das earned the Trustees’ Award for achieving the graduating class’s highest cumulative grade point average. Jialin Li and Julia Reed earned the Head of School Award for achieving the second-highest cumulative grade point average. Julia Reed and Carson Walker earned the faculty prize, awarded to two seniors who, through effort, character, scholarship, arts and athletics, have best demonstrated the ideals and spirit of La Jolla Country Day School.

Congratulations, class of 2023! We can’t wait to see how you inspire greatness for a better world.
