It's Wheels in School Week! Remember helmets are required to ride, and plan for a little extra time at drop off and pick up to take care of bikes and scooters.

Gardner's Got Talent!
It was great to see the talent our students shared at the 2023 Gardner Talent Show on Thursday. It takes courage to perform in front of a packed gym, and we're proud of our students for their efforts! Thank you to everyone who attended and supported the classes and individuals on stage.
Student Information System Update
FACTS Family Portal Setup
The rollout was delayed last week, but families will receive a series of emails from FACTS student information system this week. Thank you for your patience!

Here's what to expect:

An email sharing re-enrollment steps for the 23-24 school year. This will give you the link to login and create a FACTS Family Portal account. Once you setup the account, you'll receive an email with a confirmation link to activate the account. 

Please follow the steps in the email and complete registration and payment plan setup by Friday, June 9th. If you need help troubleshooting, reach out to Sheila FitzPatrick for any financial questions, and Lisa Linderman for any registration questions.
Celebrations of Learning

Next week, we welcome families on campus to see a showcase of student work at the final 2023 Celebration of Learning. 

Tumtum families are invited Monday, June 5th at 2:00 pm to the Imagination Playground.

Mazama families will meet in the Imagination Playground at 12:00 on Wednesday, June 7th.

All K-6 students will share their work with friends and family on Thursday, June 8th at 2:00 pm in the Great Room.

The Columbian's Best of Clark County awards are a wonderful way for our school to get noticed in the Clark County area. We know the Gardner School is a unique and needed school in Clark County, and this recognition is an honor!

No After Care June 14th

Looking ahead, we have a busy and fun spring! Check out the calendar below or subscribe to the digital calendar here. 

Please note, there is no after care on the last day of school, June 14th, and pick up is at 1:45 for early release. Children in our early childhood program need to be picked up at 1:00 pm, unless they have older siblings in the K-6 program.
Don't miss out! 

Yearbooks have been delivered to campus and they will be sent home with students starting June 5th.

If you have not ordered a yearbook yet, please do so soon before what we have ordered are gone!

Clark County Rainbow Walk on Sunday 6/4

Come visit our team at the Clark County Rainbow Walk at Holley Park in La Center from 11:00- 4:00. There will be lots of family friendly activities, music, food vendors, and more. Gardner School strives to be a welcoming and inclusive space for all in Clark County, and we appreciate opportunities to share our work with the community!

Thank you to Gardner parent and owner of Susan's 3D Creations, Susan Melton, for providing us with fun fidget spinners to share at the event.

Join Gardner staff members at the Clark County Pride Rainbow walk in La Center! Family-friendly activities, food vendors, and more. 

Monday, June 5th
Tumtum Celebration of Learning, 2:00 pm
Join our preschool class to celebrate a year of growth, friendship, and learning at 2:00 pm.

Wednesday, June 7th
Mazama Celebration of Learning, 12:00 pm
Mazama Pre-K students are ready to share their learning with families and friends at their final Celebration of Learning for the year!

Thursday, June 8th
Kindergarten- 6th Grade Celebration of Learning, 2:00 pm
After an all school presentation in the Great Room, explore our Kalama- Klickitat classrooms to see hands-on projects, art displays, and other artifacts of learning! 

Friday, June 9th
Early Childhood Field Day
An opportunity for our preschool and Pre-K students to have a blast outside! Prepare for water play, packing a towel and an extra change of clothes.

Monday, June 12th
Klickitat Graduation, 2:00 pm
Graduation at Gardner is a special time to celebrate the hard work our students have put in during their time at Gardner, and a chance to highlight the uniqueness of their experience. All community members are welcome to join us for graduation in the Great Room.

Wednesday, June 14th
K-6 Field Day
Expect your kids to need some extra changes of clothes, a towel, and good shoes for running and playing during this last field day of the school year!

Wednesday, June 14th
Last Day of School, Pick Up 1:45, No After Care
What a wonderful year it has been! Enjoy your summers, and we can't wait to see you back in the fall!
