A Note from the
President

Dear Saints families,

I want to express my personal gratitude towards our resilient community. As we enter the last week for seniors, we are excited to celebrate the class of 2023 and all of their accomplishments. We hope all of our students finish the semester strong.

"Be glad in the LORD, and rejoice, ye righteous: And shout for joy, all ye that are upright in heart." Psalm 32:11.

Academics

History is so dramatic!

The AP World History, Theatre I and Theatre II classes completed a wonderful cross-curricular project which was showcased last Friday. Our AP World History scholars wrote one act plays based on historical events covered in their studies. Our amazing Theatre I students acted them out under the direction of our outstanding Theatre II students. The end result was stellar. The Black Box was packed with students and teachers who were treated to plays featuring Jack the Ripper, Maria Antoinette, King Louis, beheadings… It was great!

Congratulations, Ms. Nemecek, Mr. Caulfield, AP World History and Theatre I and II students, for a job well done!

Summer School registration continues.
Students who have earned semester grades of F are required to attend SAHS Summer School to remediate those grades to meet graduation and college admission requirements. Students earning grades of D at the semester are strongly encouraged to improve those grades to meet college admissions requirements. Below are the links for Summer School 2023:

  • Tuesday         White Day

  • Wednesday     Purple, 12:30 dismissal

  • Thursday        White-R Day

  • Friday             Purple-3 Day, Academic Support

  • Monday, May 22, is ANYTHING BUT A BACKPACK DAY. Students may bring their school belongings in anything but a backpack. They should bring devices and lunches in containers, other than backpacks, say... their little sister's toy shopping cart, or their baby brother's umbrella stroller, or their cat's car carrier, or their dad's toolbox, or their family's laundry basket. It is a time to have fun and be creative, but remember whatever students bring should not deter them from getting to class on time!
