THE BAFTA TELEVISION AWARDS 2023

This week Premier celebrated the incredible talent nominated at the BAFTA Television Awards. A wide range of Premier clients were in attendance including Red Bull Studios who won Single Documentary with “The Real Mo Farah” and Sky who took home the trophy for Factual Series with “Libby, Are You Home Yet?” Many of our Personal PR clients attended as nominees, citation readers and guests. Kate Winslet won the ‘Leading Actress’ award for ‘I Am Ruth’ and later in the evening ‘I Am Ruth’ won another BAFTA for ‘Single Drama’. The award was presented to the team, including Kate Winslet and Mia Threapleton, by citation readers Jack Lowden and Niamh Algar. Nicôle Lecky won the award for ‘Mini-Series’ for her drama Mood.

Jack Lowden also attended the award ceremony as a ‘Supporting Actor’ nominee for his role in Slow Horses, as well as Martin Freeman who attended as a ‘Leading Actor’ nominee for his role in The Responder.  Additionally, Eddie Marsan was in attendance on behalf of The Thief, His Wife and The Canoe (nominated for ‘Best Miniseries’) and David Morrissey attended on behalf of Sherwood (nominated for ‘Best Drama Series’). 
Premier was also on BAFTA red-carpet filming on behalf of our client the British Film Institute, creating a news reel sizzle which has been published by ScreenUK. Click here to watch the video and find out more.

LEICESTER SQUARE TRANSFORMED INTO AQUATIC WONDERLAND FOR THE UK PREMIERE OF THE LITTLE MERMAID

Premier was brought “on board” by Disney to take Leicester Square “Under the Sea” for the UK premiere of The Little Mermaid. We created a spectacular sea and beach themed carpet, which event featured a sneak peek at Ursula’s tentacles. The event was attended by filmmakers, stars from the film and a whole host of UK celebs and influencers.

VEVO BRUNCH AT THE GREAT ESCAPE FESTIVAL

Last week, Premier joined our client Vevo to host a brunch at The Great Escape Festival in Brighton. The brunch was held at The Loft at Brighton Beach House and was well over subscribed! The networking event encouraged those who attended to get the latest news from Vevo, all while enjoying a breakfast bap and some pastries. Media attendees included GQ, DIY, Record of the Day and more.

THE LONDON ACTION FESTIVAL ANNOUNCES PACKED PROGRAMME FOR 2023 EDITION

This week Premier was pleased to announce the first batch of events for The London Action Festival, the UK’s only festival dedicated to all things action. The packed 2023 programme includes screenings, talent Q&As and a range of action film and television themed exhibitions and interactive experiences.
