Presiding Bishop Michael Curry shares Pentecost message, looks forward to Episcopal Youth Event
Celebrating the gift of the Spirit on Pentecost to guide us “in the deeper ways of God’s love,” Presiding Bishop Michael Curry invites Episcopalians to pray for the hundreds of young people gathering July 4-8 at the Episcopal Youth Event (EYE) in College Park, Maryland. Some event sessions will be livestreamed for public viewing.

Presiding Bishop Michael Curry receiving medical monitoring and treatment
Over Memorial Day weekend, Episcopal Church Presiding Bishop Michael Curry was admitted to the hospital in Raleigh, North Carolina, where he underwent testing for internal bleeding and a heart condition. He has been discharged and will be monitored while working on a reduced schedule from home.

Grant applications due Aug. 1 for new Episcopal communities
New Episcopal Community grant applications are open for dioceses and mission developers who are envisioning, planning, or growing new worshipping communities and missional enterprises throughout the church. The deadline to apply for the second round of 2023 New Episcopal Community grant funding is Aug. 1.

It's All About Love: A Festival for the Jesus Movement
All are invited to join this churchwide festival of worship, learning, community, and action July 9-12 at the Baltimore (Maryland) Convention Center. It features dozens of workshops, panel discussions, meet-ups, and more, organized around the ministries of evangelism, racial justice, and creation care. Apply to be an Episcopal Church Ecojustice Fellow
The Episcopal Church Department of Reconciliation, Justice, and Creation Care is piloting the first Episcopal Ecojustice Fellows program, open to young adult Episcopalians between 18 and 30 years old. In this five-month virtual/remote program, fellows will participate six to eight hours per week between June and October and receive a stipend of $2,500. Fellows will receive training in creation care advocacy and develop a local eco-justice project in their congregation, institution, or diocese related to preaching, teaching, justice advocacy, or sustainability. Applications will be accepted on a rolling basis until June 10. Apply online.
