Kukwstsétsemc for Greenhouse
|
|
TteS band member J'onn Giese writes:
Would sure like to thank the Greenhouse staff! The ladies who are working at the greenhouse... You are extremely helpful in regards to distributing plants to our members! An awesome job is being done by the 3 people that are working at this project. It's an amazing abundance of vegetables and flowers that are being grown.
I think this is much more beneficial than just distributing seed money to our members, in which those funds don't always get used for their intended purpose. I hope those funds will get used on projects more like this! Much more beneficial to our community and it creates employment!!
Kukwstsétsemc for the ongoing effort with this project.

Spray paint vandalism, — graffiti— refers to the unauthorized marking of public or private property through etching, painting, or placing of a mark. While some view graffiti as an art form or a means of self-expression, it is, in fact, vandalism that incurs costs for removal or covering by the authorities. The most common form of graffiti in Kamloops is "tagging," which involves writing or painting identifiable symbolic characters or personal "tags." These tags serve as signatures for vandals, who may derive a sense of pride and gain recognition among fellow taggers.
The Band is working towards creating a Grffiti Task Force to:
- remove illegal graffiti as quickly as possible
- encouraging the use of prevention techniques
Report a Tag or Graffiti on Public Property
We ask for your help to report any graffiti on Band property by reporting the specific location and providing a photo if possible.
