Welcome to the May newsletter!

We would like to begin this issue of the newsletter by thanking the nearly 120 people who attended our Biennial Conference 2023 in Lund, Sweden, for making it such a great success. You can now review all the videos, presentations, posters and our recap of this two-day event on our website!

It is also with much pride that we present this month the new pilgrimage trail for children of the Harz Monastery Route in Germany, designed by the Harz Tourist Association, which will be hiked for the first time in June in the frame of FRH's Run for Heritage campaign.

Other news items you can't miss this month are the summary of our Run for Heritage in Lund, the upcoming EXPER conference, PARCUM's new website of chapels in Flanders, the Heritage Prize awarded to the Open Churches network, KMKD's publication "Edirne, Architectural Heritage at Risk" and two new interviews of the European Year of Skills section with bell maker Olivier Baudri (Belgium) and the Marinelli family (Italy) who runs one of the oldest bell foundries in the world.

At the European level, we recommend you keep an eye out for the new edition of European Heritage Days that will take place in September, two open calls for projects on innovation and sustainable tourism, and the recently published Red List of Endangered Crafts.

To finish, we invite you to visit six religious heritage sites in Veszprém (Hungary), one of the three European Capitals of Culture for 2023, with this month's Religiana list.

See you next month!
