Bara is one of the most renowned and respected producers on the Montagne de Reims and the premier house in Bouzy, a grand cru village famous for pinot noir.

Indeed, pinot ripens so well on Bouzy's south facing slopes that it has its own appellation for a still red, the northernmost appellation for red wine in France. Naturally enough, Bara is a pinot house and among the best.
